GEORGE ST RESERVE

Public BBQ

This park is a recently upgraded gem tucked behind a tennis club, featuring a range of amenities from a playground, tennis court, basketball ring, cricket net, and small-sized footy goals. It also provides a good-sized space for dogs to wander. There are electric grills for BBQs both undercover and out in the open, complete with seating. The park's landscape is marked by large, lush green grass areas and peaceful surroundings. A sand pit in the playground appears to be popular among children. However, the playground design seems to favor older children, lacking steps leading up to the slide. The park also houses public toilets, including a dog water bucket by the toilet. There is a small car park, but parking is limited and there's currently no fence around the play area. The park's proximity to a busy road may be a concern for children's safety unless fencing is improved. Despite these minor issues, it remains a lovely place to relax, have a party, or play tennis.
